Community VOICES Annual Fundraiser
Waltham, MA, October 3, 2011 — Community VOICES (Voices of Involved Citizens Encouraging Safety) is holding its fourth annual fundraiser on Friday, October 21 at 7:30 pm at the Embassy Suites, 550 Winter Street, Waltham, MA.

In addition to the cocktail party, dancing, and silent auction, this year we proudly welcome and honor local individuals who have dedicated their lives to protecting our children.  Spirit of Compassion Award recipients include State Representative James Arciero, Judy Norton - Director of Victim Services for the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board, and Sergeant Pi Heseltine with the Massachusetts State Police.  The Jeffrey Curley Dedicated Service Award will be presented to the Violent Fugitive Apprehension Unit of the Massachusetts State Police.

You won’t want to miss this silent auction and your opportunity to win items such as Bruins tickets, a family four-pack of Disney passes, tickets to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, autographed sports memorabilia and so much more.

Community VOICES is an non-profit organization that  offers advocacy, resources and educational information to community groups, individuals and community leaders, with the goal of raising awareness regarding sexual assault, child sexual assault, internet predators and missing and endangered children.  In early 2011, VOICES began working with a number of local and national organizations to pilot Massachusetts’s first Courthouse Dog program.
