Framingham man indicted on child porn charges Framingham man indicted on child porn charges By Norman Miller/Daily News staff The MetroWest Daily News Mar 22, 2013 FRAMINGHAM — A Framingham man who worked as an administrator in Stoneham Public Schools is being held on $20,000 bail after his arraignment in Middlesex Superior Court on child pornography charges. Steven Orloff, 47, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment last Friday. He is charged with possession of a child pornography and posing a child in a state of sexual conduct. Along with the $20,000 bail, Clerk Magistrate Matthew Day banned Orloff from using the Internet, ordered him to have no contact with children under 18, to stay away from all Stoneham schools, surrender his passport and to wear a GPS monitor. He was also ordered to have no contact with his wife or children. Authorities say Orloff was first arrested in December after they say he tried to trick a teenage girl into sending him nude photos. At the time of his arrest, Orloff was the director of student services at Stoneham public schools. Orloff, of 189 Potter Road, was then arrested again on Dec. 21 after Framingham Police continued their investigation. The file has been impounded, but authorities said they found evidence of two more victims on his computer. Orloff is due back in superior court on April 23 for a pretrial conference.
